Who is Kim Hill?
She's the angel who wears her halo as a belt. The Syracuse, NY native is fearless with an enviable ability to relate to all genres and generations... effortlessly.
Drawing from cultural icons ranging from Blondie to Diana Ross, she's shared the stage with a wide spectrum of artists; including the late Biggie Smalls, Outkast, Raphael Saadiq, NoDoubt, Common and Aaliyah just to name a few. She co-wrote Tupac's "Mamas just a Little Girl" from his 3x's multi- platinum album, "Better Dayz", and recorded with Jane's Addiction on their platinum album, Strays. She's been heralded as an "Indie darling" in magazines from Rolling Stone to Vibe and has been highlighted on Access Hollywood and as a guest host on ESPN.
A chance meeting in 1995 with the multicultural alternative hip-hop group, The Black Eyed Peas, led to her five year artistic marriage with the group which included writing and singing on their critically acclaimed debut album, Behind the Front and their sophomore album, Bridging the Gap. That fortuitous encounter was the pivotal twist in a whirlwind adventure that would ultimately change her career, her mission and her life.
With fans from South Central LA to Bangladesh, Kim Hill has the stuff legends are made of.
